Altilia Retailing & Dealership: An Enterprise Development Project_ Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Ms. Rowena R. Noceda. The entrepreneurs objective was to determined the profitability of raising broiler chicken, identify different marketing strategies to sell broiler chicken, and identify problems in raising and marketing of broilers and recommend feasible solutions. An enterprise development project (EDP) was conducted in Anuling Cerca Mendez, Cavite and in Calumpang Cerca Indang, Cavite to give the entrepreneurs an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills gained inside the classroom by putting up a poultry business. This project described the practices in producing good quality of live and dressed chicken. The broiler production project was conducted from November 22, 2013 to March 08, 2014 with an initial capital of P 30,000.00, which was equally shared by the entrepreneurs. The project was mainly concerned with proper caring of chicken to produce good quality products. During the three months of operation, 250 broiler chickens were raised-100 for first batch and 150 for the second batch. The major products sold by the entrepreneurs were live and dressed chicken including the chicken liver and gizzard, chicken feet and heads, and entrails. The market of the enterprise included the household buyers, sari-sari stores, and walk-in buyers in Mendez, Indang, and Trece Martires City, Cavite. The project had a net sale of P 43,347.00 and a net income of P 10,879.53.
