Abstract: VANZ ERIELL V. BELLEZA and ROCHELLE A. CAS., Development of E-Learning System for Inorganic Chemistry of College of Arts And Sciences, Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Sciences in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Ms Lydia P. Nosa. The study was conducted to develop e-learning system for Inorganic Chemistry of College of Arts and Sciences, Cavite State University which will provide an efficient delivery of quality education specifically for those students who take the subject. The development of elearning system subject aimed to provide benefits to the university which is the Cavite State University in a manner that comprehends its vision in providing globally competitive individuals. The methodology used by the proponents was unified process. It was composed of the following phases: inception, elaboration, construction and transition. The software developed has the following features: user account module, content management module, assessment management module, communication module and report module. User account module allows the administrator, instructor and student to enter the system by entering their corresponding username and password. Content management module it contains the entire lesson that can be browsed by the students without time limit, also the periodic table and ion. Assessment management module contains the output of the quizzes from all the lessons, the instructor can upload the question and answers for the quizzes. Communication module serves as a bulletin board because it shows the announcements made by the instructor and admin. The report module has all the list of the students and their recorded grades. The system has three levels of access: administrator, instructor and student. Each user has its own page, and individual username and password. The development of e-learning system for Inorganic Chemistry subject was developed under Apache as server, PHP as programming language, HTML as scripting language and MySQL for database. Microsoft Office 2007 was used for the documentation and Microsoft Visio 2007 for designing the diagrams.
