Abstract: SAQUILAYAN, RACHEL E. Broiler Production: An Entrepreneural Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship major in Animal Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2015. Adviser: Dr. Magdalena N. Alcantara. This project was conducted at Cavite State University Indang, Cavite from April 20, 2015 to May 25, 2015. The project aimed to acquire skills in broiler production in terms of actual operation and management of a broiler production project; and to determine the profitability of raising broilers. The broiler production project used 100 day-old chicks that were purchased from Phil. Malay Hatchery. The feeds were bought from Barangay Kaytapos Indang, Cavite. The project involved different operations starting from the preparation of the housing and equipment, purchase of chicks and feeds, brooding, feeding, waste management, as well as harvesting and marketing. At the end of the project, the 100 broilers are sold in live weight basis at the price of P 80.00 per kilograms and in dressed weight basis at the price of P 120.00 per kiligrams. The project incurred a total cost of P 13,043.00 with the net income of P 6,962.00. The computed return on investment (ROI) was 53.38%.
