Abstract: HERNANDO JOHN CARLO A. Goat Production: An Entrepreneurial Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Nora C. Cabaral. The entrepreneurial project was conducted from November 10, 2014 to February 10, 2015 at Fresno Goat Farm located at Cabuco, Trece, Martires City, Cavite. It aimed to provide the opportunity for the student to gain more knowledge and enhance his skills in goat production. The study aimed to: (1) enhance entrepreneurial skills; (2) experience actual production operation; (3) determine the husbandry practices to further enhance goat productivity; (4) determine the profitability of goat production, and identify the problems encountered in goat production. The results of the enterprise revealed that fattening 10 crossbreed goats (4 months old) for a 3 months period have an average weight of 24kg and 100g average daily gain. Furthermore, a general increase in trend of weight gain and average daily gain was noted. This was attributed to the fact that during this period (3-7 months) of feeding, maximum growth was attained as goats got older. Based on the actual fattening of 10 heads of crossbreed goats for 3 months, total production costs were 36,050. Actual total sales of P49,500 were based on the kilogram live weight with a total of 330 kg (i.e. based on final average weight) at 150kg giving a 37.31% return on investment.
