Abstract: CREDO, EUGENE REY G. and JUNGOY, AVELYN JOY B. Development of Management Information System for Lucsuhin National High School, Luksuhin, Alfonso, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Simeon E. Daez The data gathering was done through interview with Mr. Antonio E. Ronario,the head teacher of Lucsuhin National High School, Luksuhin, Alfonso, Cavite. The proponents did library research for related literature and studies at Ladislao N. Diwa Memorial Library and Reading Room of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Cavite State University in Indang, Cavite. The study aimed to develop a management information system for Lucsuhin National High School, Luksuhin, Alfonso, Cavite The content of the development of management information system was established which the teachers, advisers and guidance counselor allow to discover and explore. Based on the result of the study, the problems and scope of the existing system were identified through fishbone diagram and data flow diagram. These problems were analyzed to identify the needed requirements using data flow diagram. With these, the design concept was determined and the solution was designed through the use of software development methodology and with the help of PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the scripting language, MySQL as the database, HTML and CSS, and notepad++ as the editor. The system was evaluated by 40 teachers of Lucsuhin National High School, Luksuhin, Alfonso Cavite based on the following criteria: accuracy, consistency, correctness, reliability, user interaction, and technical aspect of the software and materials. The system was evaluated based on its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability of the system. After the evaluation was done, the system successfully passed all the requirements needed. The result of the software evaluation showed that the system was satisfactory to the users.
