Abstract: PANGANIIBAN, EFRAIIM PENA. Goat Production: An Entrepreneurial Project. Bachelor of Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production. Department of Animal Science College of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR) Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Prof. Nora C. Cabaral. The entrepreneurial project was conducted at Fresno Farm, Cabuco, Trece Martires City, Cavite from November 10, 2014 to February 10, 2015. A total of 10 heads of cross bred fattener goats aged 3-4 months were used in this project in order to acquire skills and experience in actual goat production. Following the proper management practices during the entire production period, the project was successful. Starting from selecting stocks with the desired characteristics appropriate for meat purposes, selecting good forages and concentrates, and proper production practices, an average initial weight of 14.5 kg of goats that resulted to an average final weight of 25 kg of goats was obtained. The goats were sold on live weight basis at P160 per kilogram. The total sale incurred was P40, 000 while the total expenses were P27, 050 giving a net income of P12, 950 and a return on investment of 47.87%.
