Abstract: RAMOS, ANGELIQUE ANNE V., and SALES, GIA ANTONETTE A., Influence of Labor Distribution in Coffee Processing on Household Income of Coffee Farmers in Amadeo, Cavite. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Engr. Willie C. Buclatin The study aimed to determine the general and farming characteristics of the coffee farmers in Amadeo, Cavite. The study also aimed to determine the economic information of the participants and the distribution of labor with regards to coffee processing. This study also aimed to determine the relationship between gender, and access and control over income of households involved in coffee processing. The research design used by the researchers in this study was the descriptive method. The study's source of data was the participants which were the farmers in all barangays in the municipality of Amadeo, Cavite. Through the use of Slovin s formula, the researchers came up with a sample size of three hundred sixty two (362) farmers. The researchers used stratified random sampling to equally get the right number of participants from each barangay to complete the samples needed. Based on the results, there are two hundred twenty four (224) male participants and one hundred thirty eight (138) female participants and the mean of their ages is 61 years old with a standard deviation of 0.68. The results also show that there is a significant relationship between gender, and access and control over income with regards to labor distribution. The study also shows that there are positive relationships between gender when it comes to control over income. Having a positive relationship shows that the number of gender per household has an effect with regard to controlling the income.
