Field visits were done regularly in Mendez, Cavite for six months with three months of wet period from August to October and three months of dry period from November to January to conduct in situ measurement of water discharge, pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, total dissolved solids, and electrical conductivity. Microbial test was done twice to cover the wet and dry seasons. The streams in Mendez, Cavite are all intermittent. No flow was observed except during times of long and intense rainfall events where flooding occurred.
