Abstract: EUFEMIO, ARCHIEVAL U. and ALARCA, JONATHAN D. Record Management System for Farmer’s Training Center and Techno Demo Farm. Undergraduate thesis Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mr. Simeon E. Daez. The study was conducted from July 2015 to February 2016 at Brgy. Alulod, Indang and at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop record management system for Farmer’ Training Center and Techno Demo Farm, Cavite State University- main campus. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. identify the problems by conducting an interview to the organization personnel; 2. analayze the problem using Ishikawa diagram; 3. design a system that is user friendly, reliable in terms of its functionality and operations and with customizations based on the opinions and request of the staff; 4. design a system that helps students about the description and planting procedure of organic plants; 5. develop a system that displays the reports of sales of each organic plants, using a scripting language like PHP and MySQL for database, and 6. evaluate the system by testing the program and letting the user determine its quality through unit testing, integration testing and system testing. Iterative Methodology was used for the development of the software. It has five phases namely: analysis and design, implementation phase, software testing phase, evaluation phase and deployment phase. The system was developed using Adobe Photoshop and PHP as the programming language and Interface design and MySQL for the database. Microsoft Word 2010 was used for documentation and Windows 8 as the Operating System. The software evaluation used the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Staff, IT expert and students of the Cavite State University-main campus served as the evaluators of the system. The software passed all the criteria for the evaluation and had met all the needed requirements for the software.
