Abstract: BARAL LOUIGIE ADRIAN H. and LIMBO ROMA B. Record Management System for City Planning and Development Office of Trece Martires City Cavite. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mr. Jake R. Ersando. The study, Record Management System for City Planning and Development Office of Trece Martires City Cavite was conducted from June 2015 to February 2016 at Cavite State University — Main Campus (CvSU) Indang, Cavite. The concept behind the system is to address the problems faced by the organization such as: difficulty of handling business files, generation of reports, difficulty in computing and viewing the amount of fees. The developers used the iterative development methodology as a paradigm in the development of system. This methodology has the following phases: planning, requirement, analysis and design, coding and development, software testing and evaluation. The system was developed using different software tools such as Apache as the server, My Structure Query Language (MySQL) for the database, PUP: Hypertext Processor (PHP) as the programming language, JavaScript as the server-side scripting language ,and Hypertext Mark-up Language(HTML) and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS)for design the system, Adobe Photoshop and PHP as the programming language and Interface design and MySQL for the database. Microsoft Word 2010 was used for documentation and Windows 8 as the Operating System. The software evaluation used the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Staff', IT expert and students of the Cavite State University Main Campus served as the evaluators of the system. The software passed all the criteria for the evaluation and had met all the needed requirements for the software.
