The study was conducted at Cavite State University, College of Engineering and Information Technology. The study aimed to identify the font face and font color present in the given materials. A total of 10 faculty members, five Information Technology students and five Computer Science students of the Department of Information Technology as respondents and potential users of the software. The study was carried out from June 2015 to December 2016.
Prototyping Methodology was used in completing the study. The methodology consists of requirement phase, design and analysis phase, implementation phase, testing phase and evaluation phase. Statistical Analysis was used.
The findings of the study revealed a positive perception by the respondents who were potentially users of the software.
The application that was developed can determine the font faces and font colors given in the materials through scanning the captured text. The application has a text typing trial for the users who want to try different font faces that is available in the
application.
