This study was conducted from November to December 2015 at Cavite State University at Indang Cavite. The study aimed to investigate and evaluate the job preferences and career expectations of business management students of Cavite State University Main Campus. Specifically it aimed to identify the socio-demographic profile, the job preferences, and the career expectations of business management students. The significant difference in job preferences of business management students in terms of their year-level, and the significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and job preference, socio-demographic and career expectation and job preference and career expectation were also determined. Descriptive method was used and 350 business management students of Cavite State University were the participants. Frequency counts, mean, percentage, and standard deviation were used to describe the socio-demographic profile, job preference, and career expectation. The relationship between socio-demographic profile and job preference, socio-demographic and career expectation, and job preference and career expectation were determined using spearman rank correlation analysis. Most of the participants preferred job cognitive type of work, both manufacturing and service industry, a well-known and multinational company, high base salary and performance-based compensation scheme, managerial level of job, work in ASEAN countries and companies that value responsibility, respectful and honest. They also preferred a working environment where they feel accepted and treated with courtesy, listened to, and invited to express their thought and feelings by the upper administration. They can tolerate more quick body movements. They preferred a place that is designed for efficient and comfortable work. Most of them preferred a job with employee protection policy and a job where there is a constant contact with the public. The findings also states that the some of the socio-demographic profile have relationship with job preference and career expectation. There are also some job preference with significant relationship to career expectation.
