The study was conducted to determine the level of performance on Governance of selected barangays in District VII of Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the latest profiles of selected barangays; level of performance on governance of selected barangays from 2013 to 2016 in terms of administration, social services, economic development and environmental management; and identify the strengths and weaknesses of selected barangays in the performance on governance. Descriptive research was used in the study. Seventy one barangays were selected from eight municipalities and one city in District VII of Cavite. Results showed that majority of the barangays were rural, upland classification and had agricultural economic source. Barangays with smallest population were found in the third and fourth class municipalities. All barangays used Meralco as their largest power supply distributor and had water supplied through water faucets in individual households. Majority of the participants were using jeep, tricycle, private vehicle and motorcycle' as their means of transportation and were using telephone and mobile phone as their means of communication. Barangay governance in District VII of Cavite were "compliant to the minimum requirements" in terms of administration from year 2013 to 2016. Second, third and fifth class municipalities were "compliant to the minimum requirements" in terms of social services from year 2013 to 2016 while the first and fourth class municipalities "need minor reinforcements" in the performance of social services from year 2013 to 2016. On the other hand, third and fifth class municipalities were "compliant to the minimum requirements" for the last four years (2013 to 3016) regarding performance on economic development while first and second class municipalities "need minor reinforcements" and fourth class municipalities "need major reinforcements" for the last four years (2013 — 2016) on economic development. Barangay governance in all five municipal/city classes were "compliant to the minimum requirements" for the last four years (2013 to 2016) on environmental management. Results revealed that most of the strengths of every municipal/city classes appeared from service areas in Administration and Environmental Management. On the other hand, most of the weaknesses of every municipal/city class appeared from service areas in Social Services and Economic Development.
