Abstract: ARAHAN, MARIBETH A. and SIERRA CARINA MAE D., Hog Fattening In Palumlum, Alfonso, Cavite; An Entrepreneurial Project Entrepreneurial Development Project Repot Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Cavite State University, Cavite, Philippines. May 2017. Adviser: Dr. Irvin dL. Matel The entrepreneurial project was conducted in Brgy. Palulum, Alfonso, Cavite from February 2017 to April 2017. The project was conducted for the student entrepreneur to gain experience and managerial skills in hog fattening operation, enhance knowledge in managing hog fattening and asses the profitability of hog fattening. A total of 8 heads of hogs were raised. After a rearing period of 80 days, the 8 hogs consumed a total of 400 kg of starter feeds ration then also consumed a total of 600 kg of grower ration. The hogs obtained an average final body weight of 67.63 kg with feed efficiency of 2.49 kg. The computed harvest recovery was 100 percent. A total production cost of P57, 330.00 was obtained. The project obtained a net income of P 13, 147.00 and a return on investment of 22.93%.
