Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Business Economics. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Thea Maries Perez. The study conducted aimed to analyze and evaluate the present condition of the industrial estates in Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the existing numbers of industrial estates in Cavite, determine the characteristics of industrial estates in Cavite; determine the nature of business of locators within the industrial estates in Cavite: determine the growth and decline in the number of locators in each industrial estates in Cavite with the year started; and determine the economic and percentage contribution in terms of; tax revenues, total number of apartments/boarding houses, complementary businesses generated, total number of investments contributed, employment, infrastructure in the province of Cavite. Frequency, percentage distribution and descriptive design were used in analyzing and interpreting the data. The province of Cavite is home of the greatest number of industrial estates across the country's regions with 61 industrial estates. The industrial estates in 8 municipalities have a total of 26 industrial estates. The municipality of Carmona has the greatest number of industrial estates with 9 industrial estates. Industrial estates in Cavite cover a total land area of 1089.21 hectares. Cavite Economic Zone is the largest industrial estate in terms of land area. There were 22 industrial estates that are fully occupied and I industrial estate which is still unoccupied by 23.61 hectares. Majority of the locators in the industrial estates in Cavite were engaged in creating warehousing and trading with 143 companies and establishments. Garments and textile is the second prominent industry followed by the manufacturing of electronics and semi-conductor and electronic machineries. A total of 1250 companies are located inside the 61 industrial estates in Cavite, wherein Cavite Economic Zone has the greatest number of locators with 421 companies. Over the twenty-year period 1995-2015, the number of industrial estates in Cavite increasing from 31 to 61 with an annual average growth rate of 6.92 %. The industrial estates in Cavite accumulated PSI 8,811,143.68 total tax revenue for General Trias, Carmona, Rosario and Dasmarinas There were 3,213 apartments and boarding houses built among the cities of Imus and Dasmarinas and in the towns of General Trias, Carmona, and Rosario. Meanwhile, complementary businesses increased with a total of 17,022 in the towns of General Trial, Carmona, Rosario, Imus and Dasmarinas Industrial Estates in Cavite accumulated a total investment of 1>342,703,450,000.00 which comprises four municipalities/cities. The 1250 establishment within the industrial estates in Cavite, had employed 383,759 persons in 2015, Meanwhile, municipality of Rosario had the most number with 101,726 skilled workers in Industrial estates. There were 148 infrastructures accumulated by the province of Cavite which comprises tower cell site, gas stations, terminals, and real estates.
