Level of Perceived Stereotyping, Level of Occupational Stress and Level of Work Motivation of Men and Women with Gender Exchange Careers in Selected Cities of Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Desinganio The study was conducted from January to March 2017, in three selected cities in Cavite namely Dasmarinas, General Trias and lmus Cavite to find out the level of perceived stereotyping, level of occupational stress and level of work motivation of men and women with gender exchange careers. Specifically the study sought to determine the: 1) level of perceived stereotyping, level of occupational stress and level of work motivation in term of men and women with gender exchange careers; 2) significant relationship among perceived stereotyping and level of occupational stress, perceived stereotyping and level of work motivation and level of work motivation and level of occupational stress; and 3) significant difference in level of perceived stereotyping, level of occupational stress and level of work motivation between men and women with gender exchange careers. The study made used of descriptive-correlational comparative design. Using purposive sampling and snowball technique, the participants were determined a 60 men and 60 women with gender exchange careers. Based on the findings, it was determined that men and women with gender exchange careers have a very low perceived stereotyping, low occupational stress and high work motivation. The level of perceived stereotyping, level of occupational stress and work motivation of men and women with gender exchange careers has no significant difference. The results revealed that the relationship of the perceived stereotyping, and occupational stress of men has no significant relationship dissimilar to the result of women. While in perceived stereotyping and work motivation- autonomy in men it has no significant relationship unlike the result of women with significant relationship. The relationship between perceived stereotyping and work motivation in terms of controlled of men and women has no significant relationship. The relationship between occupational stress and work motivation = autonomy of men has no significant relationship, while the women has significant relationship. Lastly, the occupational stress and work motivation — controlled of men and women with gender exchange careers has significant relationship.
