The study entitled "Fruit Catcher: 2D Android Game for Identifying Locally Available Fruits", aimed to help users in learning more about selected locally fruits available in the Philippines. The researchers identified the problems of manually learning the locally available fruits in the country. They developed the application in an Android platform.
The researchers conducted the study to provide a mobile game called Fruit Catcher which is an interesting and well-designed game as it excites the users with the fruits and letters that appear and fall on the gameplay. It is necessary to catch the fruit and letters so that the users can complete the given word. After completely catching the required letters of the word and the desired amount of required fruits, a trivia about the fruit caught in the stage will appear. A well-designed environment of the game is considered. By the use of this new mobile application game, the users would experience fun and excitement while learning from the trivia.
