Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Mark Philip M. Sy. The study aimed to develop a digital museum of natural history for the Department of Biological Sciences in Cavite State University — Main Campus. It aimed to create a web page and mobile scanner that will enable interaction with the end users. It intend to provide a reliable information to serve as a supplemental museum to people who wants to visit, especially those students who in line in science. The study also wants to resolves the issues regarding to organization. The proponents used iterative development process methodology in the development of the study. The iterative development process consists of the following phases: requirement analysis, analysis and design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The digital museum of natural history of Department of Biological Sciences in Cavite State University — Main Campus was develop using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the scripting language; MySQL as the database technology for the data storage, Apache as the server, Android Studio as the platform for mobile scanner; Google Chrome as the default browser and Microsoft Word for documentation. The system was assessed and evaluated using different testing methods namely: unit, integration, and system testing. After passing the tests, one hundred ten (110) participants evaluated the system. The overall interpretation of the results of the evaluation is Excellent.
