Abstract: FLORES, SHAIRA T. and MARTINEZ, REALYN B. Development of Mobile Learning of Java Programming Language. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cavite State University, lndang Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Aiza E. Bihis. The study, Development of Mobile Learning of Java Programming Language was conducted from April 2017 to April 2018 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The developed system will provide supplementary source of information and a tool for learning for the students and instructors in Java. It contains lessons, exercises, activities and game. The study aimed to encourage students to enhance their knowledge in Java by providing additional educational tool in an interactive way. Agile method was used as the methodology to develop the software. It has five (5) phases namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The system was developed through the use of different applications: Android studio and Java for coding and designing; and Adobe Photoshop CS6 for the design of the system. The study was composed of three (3) modules namely: content, simulation and game. The content module provides the lessons of the subject. The simulation module provides activity programs. The game module provides a chat game with three (3) chapters. The system was evaluated through the following criteria; Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Portability and User-friendliness. The indicators used in software evaluation is graded from one (1) to five (5) where in five (5) As excellent, four (4) as very good, three (3) as good, two (2) as fair and one (1 ) as poor. In overall the software as rated in excellent and was concluded that it passed the criteria and met the expected output.
