This study, management information system for Barangay Tambo Munti Kulit was conducted from January 2017 to April 2018 at the Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to: identify the existing flow of transactions in the barangay through interview and document review; develop a system that will easily produce the required form of the resident; to provide an application that will accurately issue clearances and certifications with validation; and create a system that will immediately comply with required reports to be submitted. Agile methodology was used for the development of the system. It has five (5) phases namely; brainstorm phase, design phase, development phase, quality assurance phase, and deployment phase.
The software evaluation used the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. Barangay officials of Barangay Tambo Munti Kulit and information technology experts served as the respondents of the evaluation. The system passed all the criteria and had met all the needed requirements for the system.
