The study was conducted to determine the production and distribution of muscovado sugar in selected areas of Cavite and Batangas from February to June 2018. Specifically, this study aimed to: (1) determine the business profile and characteristics of the producer of muscovado sugar in selected areas of Cavite and Batangas; (2) determine the production components of the producers of muscovado in terms of machines and equipments, premises and facilities, and personnel; (3) determine the components of distribution channel of the producers of muscovado in terms of stock handling and deliveries, and transportation; (4) determine the average daily production of muscovado; and (5) determine the common problems encountered in the production and distribution of muscovado sugar by the respondents. The participants of the study were 10 muscovado producers in selected areas of Cavite and Batangas. Majority 90% of the e muscovado producers operates as a proprietorship and the remaining 10 percent operates as a partnership. Majority (70%) of the muscovado producers have been in operation almost 11 years up to 50 years. The remaining 30percent have been in operation for 1 to 10 years. Since the seventy (70) percent of the muscovado producers inherited the business from their family, and they continuously operate the business from generation to generation. The result of the study showed that the majority (70%) of the muscovado producers cannot afford to buy an electric machine to maximize their production. They cannot use their resources efficiently. Majority of the muscovado producers in Cavite and Batangas do not have the opportunity to sell their product directly to a large market since they are not registered in the Department of Trade and Industry. Most of them were contented in the current operation of their business by selling their products to wholesalers and retailers in their nearby towns.
