Abstract: ABESIA, ANN CAMILE P. HUETE, PAULINE D. AND LIM, AIRA KARIM D. Facility Preference of Concessionaire in selected Food Park in Cavite: Basis for Planning and Establishing of Food Park. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. June 2018 Adviser: Engr. Gilberto S. David. This study was conducted from March to April 2018 in selected food park in Cavite to assess the facility preference of concessionaire in Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) determine the demographic profile that will generally describe the concessionaire in selected food park in Cavite; (2) determine the business profile of the concessionaires; (3) determine the preferred food park facility layout of the concessionaires as a basis for planning and establishing of food park; (4) determine the relationship of demographic profile to the facility preference of concessionaires; (5) determine the relationship between business profile and facility preference of concessionaires; (6) determine the problem encountered by the food park concessionaires which might have caused for the decrease of customers. Demographic profile and business profile were determined using frequency count, percentage, and mean, moreover, Analytical Hierarchy Process was used to determine the preferred food park facility. Association between demographic profile and facility preference was determined as well as the association between business profile and facility preference was ascertained using spearman rank correlation. The problems encountered of food park concessionaires were ranked according to mean score. The result showed that the ambiance of the facility was highly important in a food park; this includes lighting color and the source of music. It also showed that there was only a significant relationship between facility preference and demographic profile in terms of sex, because females tend to be more conscious of the facility layout considering that they are the one who mostly take care of the house; age, since different generations tend to differ in many things including preference; and civil status, for the reason that a person may be influenced by their partner's choices in preference. And lastly, the problem that was mostly encountered by the concessionaires which caused for the decrease of customers was insufficient parking space.
