Abstract: VIDALLON, GERALDLNE C. Hog Fattening Enterprise: An Entrepreneurial Project in Bra. Buna Lejos II Indang, Cavite. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production Department of Animal Science, College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources Cavite State University Inching, Cavite.. June 2018_ Adviser Mr. Henry L Rivera. This hog production project was conducted at Brgy. Buna Lejos 11 Indang,, Cavite from December 4, 2017 to April 3, 2018. In general, the project aimed to find out the profitability of hog fattening as a business. Specifically, this project was conducted for the student to apply the learned skills and use all necessary experiences in raising and managing a backyard piggery business, to gain additional knowledge in the animal production business through hog fattening and ultimately, to earn profit from raising four fattening hogs. An investment of P 32,1101)9 was laid out and after 100 days of the production period, the total sale of P 43,5811)0 gave a net income of P 11,470_91 or an ROI of 35_72%. From the beginning of the production, the four hogs consumed 19.5kg of pre-starter with total cost of P936_00; 157.54kg hog starter with total cost of P 4,701_00 and 443.25kg_ of hog grower equivalent to P12 166_00, or a total feed cost of P17,803.00 for 100 day& The total feed consumption of the four fattening hogs reached a total of 620.29kg for 100 days or an average feed consumption of 155.07kg per head of hogs obtaining an average final body weight of 83_5 kg.. In just over a relatively shorter period than the 105 days required, the student was able to gain knowledge and experience in proper management of raising hogs and the desired profit.
