Adviser: Mailah M. Ulep. This research dealt with the Information Technology professionals’ awareness, knowledge and propensity on investments in selected areas of Cavite. A survey and online questionnaire was used to collect data from 101 Information Technology (I.T.) professionals. The purpose of this study was to determine the Information Technology professionals' awareness, knowledge, and propensity on investments in selected areas of Cavite, covering the period of January to May 2018. Specifically, the study aimed to: T (1) identify the socio-demographic profile of I.T.• professionals; (2) determine the perceived level of awareness on different types of investment of I.T. professionals in p Cavite; (3) determine the level of knowledge towards investments of I.T. professionals in Cavite; (4) determine the investment propensity of I.T. professionals in Cavite, in terms of: (a) knowledge, (b) risk tolerance, (c) preference; and (5) determine if there is a significant difference in investment propensity according to the socio-demographic profile of I.T. professionals in Cavite. Descriptive and comparative method of analysis were used in presenting and analyzing the data. Frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation, range were used in presenting the socio-demographic profile. Mean and standard deviation were used in determining the level of awareness and propensity on investments of I.T. professionals. Likert scale was used to measure the level of knowledge of I.T professionals. To determine the difference between socio-demographic profile and the level of investment propensity of I.T. professionals, Anova and Independent T-test were used. It was found out that the knowledge category of investment propensity had a significant difference with age. Risk tolerance category of investment propensity was significantly different to the civil status and investment ownership in terms of mutual funds of I.T. professionals. Preference category of investment propensity was significantly different to the investment ownership of I.T. professionals in terms of real estate and savings. Their investment propensity depended on their age, civil status, and investment ownership.
