Ma'am, Sir, Titigil na po ako: Factors Affecting Expanded Student Grant-In-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (ESGP-PA) Student Dropout in Cavite State University-Main, Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Renato T. Agdalpen, MA. This study was conducted to determine the factors that affects student grantee to drop out of school in order to provide Social Work Intervention. Specifically, the study aimed to: present the socio-demographic profile of the participants in terms of age, gender, municipality type of family, and estimated monthly income; determine the factors that affect the student to drop out of school; determine how the DSWD helps to mitigate drop out; and provide the Social Intervention to reduce the number of dropouts. The study adopted a purposive sampling technique. This method was utilized with questionnaires supported by interviews during data gathering. The statistical tools used were mean, percentage, frequency, and standard deviation. Twenty (20) dropouts were the participants of this study. The study revealed that the reason most of the students dropped out of school were familial and financial factors. The respondents have certain factors why they dropped out of school. It only implies that the program needs some improvement.
