A study was conducted at Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation located at Skyland Plaza, Senator Gil Puyat Avenue corner Tindalo Street, Makati City. The study was conducted to analyze the process of recruitment, selection and hiring practices of Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation in recruitment these are specify position it is specify requirements for a particular position, including job-specific responsibilities, competencies and academic qualifications, as well as any other relevant information. Walk-ins, referrals and absorbing trainees for recruitment process, in selection process are preliminary interview, receiving applications, screening applications, employment tests, and employment interview, checking references, medical examination and final selection and in hiring the process are complying requirements, orientation, and training. Specifically, the study aimed to: (a) describe the profile of the company; (b) describe the recruitment process of the company; (c) describe the sources of recruitment of the company; (d) describe the selection process of the company; (e) describe the hiring process of the company; (f) analyze the recruitment, selection and hiring practices of the company using SWOT analysis; and (g) identify the problems encountered and recommend feasible solutions. The overall goal of the recruitment and selection process is to obtain at minimum cost, the number and quality of employees required to satisfy the human resource needs of the company. Following the analysis and findings, the subsequent were conclusions drawn based on the objectives of the study: (a) Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation had existing formal policy for recruitment and selection of workers; and (b) the methods for the recruitment and selection of workers by contractors include internet recruitment, television advert, newspaper advert, professional associations, employment agencies, employee referrals, recruitment from school, job fairs, talent hunting, job internal recruitment, initial job offers and the labor office.
