Abstract: ROSANO, ROSANNA ANN R. "Inventory Management System of Good Shepherd Manufacturing Corporation". Undergraduate Case Stud, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2018, Adviser: Prof. Gilberto S. David. The study was conducted in Good Shepherd Manufacturing Corporation at Phase 1 Block 5 Lot 1-6, Sterling Technopark, Brgy. Maguyam, Silang, Cavite from April 2017 to May 2017. The objectives of the study is to describe the profile and operations of the company, describe the inventory management system of the firm, evaluate the effectiveness of the inventory management system of the firm, analyze the inventory control system of the company using SWOT analysis, evaluate the effectiveness of the inventory management system of the firm, identify the existing problems faced by the company in terms of inventory management, and recommend feasible solution to the problems identified in inventory management. The data were gathered from the records of the firm, including its handbook, personal interviews, and observations of the researcher in her two-month stay in the company. Descriptive method was used in analyzing the information gathered to describe the inventory management system with the aid of process flow chart. The process starts with supplier selection and ends with the recording of supplies. SWOT analysis was also used to analyze the existing inventory management system. The researcher also pointed some practices to determine the effectiveness of the company's inventory management system. After a thorough analysis, the study shows that the flow of inventory management system of Good Shepherd Manufacturing Corporation had certain constraints. The 4 process involved in the inventory management is tedious and may require time for its completion which may delay the production process. The researcher also recommended some feasible solutions for the problems that she encountered with her stay in the company. Results of the study shows that Good Shepherd Manufacturing Corporation has encountered some constraints in managing the company's daily operations especially regarding with their inventory, but the company can manage it efficiently.
