GLORIANI, AIVAN ERICK P. and SAVARIS, DARYL KIEFFER C., CvSUNOPOLY: Development of an Android Game-Based On the Combination of Uno Cards and Monopoly Navigating CvSU. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Mr. Mark Philip M. Sy.
This study was conducted at Cavite State University-Main Campus from August 2017 until March 2018. It aimed to develop, design and implement a simple Android game that will solve the difficulty of students in finding their designated rooms during the initial weeks of the semester, familiarize the students with the history and background of the college and figures within the university, and develop a digital substitute for a physical board. The researchers used Iterative Methodology for the development of the system. The methodology has seven (7) phases: Planning, Requirements, Design, Implementation, Deployment, Testing and Evaluation. The application developed has five (5) modules namely Game Play Module, Board Settings Module, Power Ups Module, Game Settings Module and About Module specifically designed to address the identified problems. CvSUNOPOLY was developed through the utilization of Sketch Up Pro 2017 and Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 for designing the resources, and Unity 3D for the development with C# as the programming language. This development was evaluated by 110 participants composed of 100 students from CvSU and 10 faculty members of Department of Information Technology. The assessment criteria were based on the ISO 9126 standards. The overall assessment of the CvSUNOPOLY acquired a mean of 4.50 from the evaluators with a standard deviation of 0.05 which indicates that the application is Excellent. This implies that CvSUNOPOLY entirely meets and surpasses the expectation of the participants.
