This study entitled "Development of Coffee Farms and Farmers Information System in
Cavite for National Coffee Research, Development and Extension Center" was developed to
assist the NCRDEC in the dissemination of their research and to provide a collection of
information regarding the coffee farms and farmers in Cavite. While conducting the research,
the researchers used questionnaires and interviews to gather data from the NCRDEC's staff
and personnel.
The System provides six modules, the Account Module, Information module, Directory Module,
Forum Module, Update Module, and Report Module. This project recommends creating a
function that can make the directions on the map available offline and could analyze the trend of
the crops planted or harvested for every part of Cavite other than Cavite. It also recommends to
creating a module that will focus on the details of the farm like street view, pictures, and crops
produced by the farm.
This study will assist the NCRDEC in the dissemination of their researches by offering
large information regarding coffee, like coffee farming, coffee farms and coffee farmers that can
be found in Cavite, This information could also help other coffee researchers and farmers to
gain more knowledge about coffee and coffee farming in Cavite.
