A study on the level of awareness of selected varsity players in the Cavite State University on management and prevention of sports injury was conducted. Specifically, the study was carried out to determine:1. the demographic profile of the participants in terms of age, sex, sports event, and the number of years they have been playing; 2. the common injuries experienced by the varsity players; 3. the significant difference between the level of awareness of the participants on management of sports injury and prevention of sports injury considering their demographic profile. This study used a descriptive type of research. One hundred eleven participants who were varsity players of Cavite State University were employed in the study. Awareness of the participants on management and prevention of injury was found in this study. In testing the hypothesis of the study, z test for independent sample means was used. The computed z value of 0.6458 was found to be less than the tabular value of 1.96 at five percent level of significance. With this, no significant difference between the variables was found.
