The study was conducted to: (a) describe the socioeconomic profile of the owners of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (b) describe the business profile of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (c) determine the level of awareness towards the use of technology in inventory management of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (d) determine the level of capabilities in using technology for inventory management of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (e) ascertain if there is a significant difference in the level of awareness of using technology in inventory management when grouped based on socioeconomic profile of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (f) ascertain if there is a significant difference in the capabilities of using technology in inventory management when grouped based on business profile of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite; (g) ascertain if there is a relationship between the level of awareness and capabilities of using technology in inventory management of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite. The study used descriptive and correlational design. The study considered a total of 100 micro enterprises' participants from selected areas of Cavite was obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done from December 2016 to February 2017. Data gathered were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, range, standard deviation and the analysis of variance test. The results showed that most of the micro enterprise owners were male and the age of the participants ranged from 20 to 70 with an average of 44 where in most of micro enterprises were predominantly owned by single proprietor with total of 76%. The participants had fully aware on using technology in inventory management which is the point of sales or cash register machine, radio frequency identification and barcode. However the participants' capabilities on complying these technologies are fair. The study showed that there is a significant difference on the level of awareness only in terms using POS/CRM when grouped by civil status of the owners of micro enterprises and in terms on RFID's on inventory grouped by civil status of the owners of micro enterprises and the rest of the result was there is no significant difference on the level of awareness grouped into different socio economic profiles of micro enterprise owners. Moreover, the study revealed that there is no significant difference in the capabilities of using technology in inventory management when grouped based on business profile of micro enterprises in selected areas of Cavite. Furthermore, there is a highly significant relationship between the levels of awareness and capabilities of using technology in inventory management of micro enterprises in selected area of Cavite.
