Abstract: ABSTRACT MOJICA, KATE CAMILLE L. and PALACIO, APRILLE ANNE B. A Development of Mobile Learning Application of El Filibusterismo for Grade 10 Students of Lumampong National High School Indang Annex. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2020. Adviser: Ms. Charlotte B. Carandang. This study was conducted from March 2018 to December 2019 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University- main campus to develop a mobile learning application of El Filibusterismo for grade 10 students of Lumampong National High School, Indang Annex. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. develop a mobile application that will serve as learning and teaching aide of students and teachers; 2. develop a lesson module in the form of 2D animations and voice over to promote interest among readers; 3. create a dictionary module that can help the students to know more about unfamiliar words in El Filibusterismo; 4.develop an activity module that will assess the learning of the users; and 5. evaluate the mobile application using unit testing, integration testing and acceptance testing. In the development of the proposed system, the proponents used various application software technologies such as Xampp Stands for Cross-Platform (X), Apache (A), MariaDB (M), PHP (P) and Perl (P). It is a simple, lightweight Apache distribution that makes it extremely easy for developers to create a local web server for testing and deployment purposes. Java is a widely used programming language. B4Android is a tool for B4A developers that allow connecting the IDE to physical devices over the local network. Notepad a free source code editor which supports several programming languages running under the MS Windows environment. Navicat for MYSQLls the ideal solution for My SQL/Maria DB administration and development. Amazing Flash to MP4 converter to convert all the videos. The Iterative Model was used in served as their guide in developing the system for the study. It includes 8 phases the initial planning, planning, requirement, analysis and design, implementation, deployment, testing and evaluation. The developed system consists of four (3) modules, namely: Lesson Module, Dictionary Module and Activity Module. The software was evaluated in terms of its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness by ten (10) instructors, for the technical evaluation, and One Hundred (100) students, for the non-technical evaluation. Based on the evaluation, the system satisfied all the objectives

This study was conducted from March 2018 to December 2019 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University- main campus to develop a mobile learning application of El Filibusterismo for grade 10 students of Lumampong National High School, Indang Annex.
