Abstract: CELESTINO, AYSA CLARIZ M. and ESQUILLO, MELANIE V. Proposed Analysis and Design of a Prototype Sustainable Urban Vertical Community. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. Renato B. Cubilla. The study entitled "Structural Design and Analysis of a Proposed Prototype of a Sustainable Urban Vertical Community" was conducted at Cavite State University — Main Campus from August 2018 to June 2019. The study aimed to prepare a physical development plan and to design a prototype of a sustainable urban vertical community. The study does not have a specific place where it will be located. The study included the design and computation such as beams, columns, footings, slabs and stairs. The study also included the architectural plan and structural details of the proposed building. Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD) software and Computer Aided Drafting Device (CADD) were used and had been a great help to the authors in analysing the structural member of the building and accomplishing the architectural and structural details of the building as well as the site development. After the comprehensive studies and computation done, it can be concluded that all sections and materials used in the project are safe and economical. It is recommended that the layout and design of electrical and plumbing system of the building to be done in order to provide the specific materials and equipment to be used. The researchers also recommend the future researchers to produce a development plan of the proposed vertical community to upgrade the level of its classification. The estimated total project cost of the proposed prototype of a sustainable urban vertical community is Php 594,824,317.85. This results to an estimated price of Php 29000.00 per square meter.
