This project was conducted at Upli Alfonso, Cavite from January 06, 2019 to April 12,
2019, with this project, the student entrepreneur was able to learn managerial skill in hog fattening and gained additional knowledge and skills in raising swine and earn profit from swine raising.
The six fattening hogs were provided with proper care and management during the 95 day-rearing period. At the end of the production, the hogs with an average initial weight of 10 kg ended up weighing an average final weight of 85.17 kg. After 95 days of rearing the hogs attained an average daily gain of 791.26 g, feed consumption 175 kg and feed conversion efficiency of 2.33
A total amount of 54,132.00 was used in the project operation. The net income was
P4,833.00, giving a return on investment of 8.93 %
