In particular, it aimed to determine the socio demographic profile of college students; determine the financial behavior of the college students in terms of savings, spending, and debt behavior; determine the level of influence of parental financial teaching on financial behavior among college students in terms of guidance, modeling, habit formation, and independence; determine the relationship between socio demographic profile and financial behavior of the college students; and determine the relationship between the influence of parental financial teaching and financial behavior. The study was conducted in Cavite State University where all satellite campuses were included such as Trece Martires City, Tanza, Silang, Imus, General Trias, Carmona, Cavite City, Bacoor City, Naic, Rosario. Slovin's formula was used to determine the total sample size of the study. A total of 396 college students served as the participants of the study. Mean, frequency count, percentage, standard deviation, and Chi-square test were used to analyzing and interpreting the data gathered of the study. The ages of the participants ranged from 18 to 29 years with an average mean of 20 years. Majority of the participants were female and 1 st year students. Most of them receiving a monthly income of P2,001.00 - P4,000. OO from their parents. Most of the participants somehow have a good behavior where it comes to saving, spending and debt behavior. The parental financial teaching component such as modeling and independence were found to be highly influential in shaping their behavior towards saving, spending and debt behavior. On the other hand, guidance and habit formation were found moderately influential where the students are moderately affected by their parents towards positive financial behavior such as have savings, spending wisely and having a good credit image. It was also concluded in the study that among the socio-demographic profile of the participants, year level to saving behavior and monthly allowance to debt behavior of college students were the variables which were found to be significantly related to financial behavior and the rest of it, were not significant. Lastly, the influence of parental financial teaching was found to be highly related to financial behavior
