Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Financial Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof. Maurrin Madrid. La Excelsa was operated from January 21 to April 19, 2019 by three entrepreneurs. This Entrepreneurial Development Project was conducted at Blk. 69 Lot 62 Bella Vista Subd., General Trias City, Cavite. The main objective of La Excelsa was for the proponents to apply their knowledge and skills that they gained in managing a business. Specifically, La Excelsa aimed to: (1) to produce a soap product that is naturally derived; (2) to determine the profitability of the coffee liquid and bar soap business; (3) to identify the demand of the coffee soap to consumer and; (4) to identify the problems that will occur while operating the business and to recommend a feasible solution. La Excelsa offered two kinds of soap products such as coffee liquid bath soap and bar soap. Each kind of soap has two variances which is the chocolate scent and the vanilla scent. To promote the business to the market, the entrepreneurs used personal selling and online selling. Entrepreneurs also attended some trade fairs. The business was in the form of partnership with the initial capital of P30,000.00 that was equally shared by the three entrepreneurs. The capital was used to provide the tools and equipment, raw materials, supplies and other expenses. For the three months of operation, the enterprise generated the total sales amounted of P 41,500.00. La Excelsa had a total assets of P 42,588.18 and after deducting operating expense, a net income of P 12,588.18 was generated.
