Tan The study was conducted from August 2018 to May 2019 at Cavite Provincial Jail located in Trece Martirez, Cavite, to assess the implementation of safety procedure and custody at Cavite Provincial Jail as perceived by elderly inmates and jail officers. Specifically, it aimed to identify the demographic profile of selected elderly inmates and jail officers at Cavite Provincial Jail; determine the level of implementation of safety procedure at Cavite Provincial Jail as perceived by elderly inmates and jail officers; determine the level of implementation of custody at Cavite Provincial Jail as perceived by elderly inmates and jail officers; determine the significant difference between the perception of elderly inmates and jail officers on the level of implementation on the safety procedure at Cavite Provincial Jail; and determine the significant difference between the perception of elderly inmates and jail officers on the level of implementation on the custody at Cavite Provincial Jail Descriptive research was used in the study. Interview with the use of survey questionnaire were done to gather pertinent data. The participants were composed of one hundred ten (1 10) elderly inmates' ages ranging from 60 to 79 years old and forty(40) jail officers from Cavite Provincial Jail .In the demographic profile of selected elderly inmates at Cavite Provincial Jail most of the participants were ages bracket 60 to 64, male and stayed for 3 to 4 years. In terms of level of implementation on the safety procedure as perceived by elderly. There is no significant difTerence between the perceptions of elderly inmates and jail officers on the level of implementation on the custody at Cavite Provincial Jail.
