The study entitled "A Proposed Design of Three Level Demountable Steel Structure as an Emergency Evacuation Center Inside Basketball Covered Court in Barangay Molino III, Bacoor City, Cavite" Main Campus from September 2020 to June 2022. - The study aims to prepare a steel design of a three-storey demountable steel structure. It has a total floor area of 538 square meters. Its highest point from the lower ground floor is 7.104 meters. The architectural concepts and plans were provided by the researchers. The researchers also provided structural plans such as details of steel beam, and details of steel column, and cost estimates of the design project. The engineering software, STAAD Pro Connect Edition V22, was used in the analysis of structural framework and structural connections. The architectural plans including the floor plans and elevations. The structural design of the building was done following the guidelines set by the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015), ASEP Steel Handbook and AISC shapes database. Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) was also used in designing steel members respectively. After the analysis and manual computations, the design will be proven safe, efficient, and economical. The estimated project cost of the three-storey demountable steel structure using steel design with total floor area of 538 square meter is Php 7,648,353.08.
