Abstract: CALIP NATASYA A. The Profiles, Jobstress and Coping Strategies of Haute Couture Entrepreneurs in Imus Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Imus, Cavite. March 2008. Adviser: Zandro V. Zamora. This study seeks to determine the demographic indicators of haute couture entrepreneurs, the coping strategies of young entrepreneurs, the problems or job stress that young entrepreneurs experience and the entrepreneurs' coping strategies in the face of rising competition, employee management and revenue generation and the relationship between the business profile and the coping strategies of the haute couture entrepreneurs. Complete enumeration will be used and no sampling technique will be applied because there are only 22 registered dress makers/ couturiers in Imus, which is equal to 22 respondents, all of them will be included to eliminate bias from the results of the correspondents' answers. Chi square test, frequency and percentage were used to determine the relationship between the dependent and independent variables and identify the problems and coping strategies of the young entrepreneurs in the fashion industry in Imus, Cavite. Results show that there is no significant relationship between the haute couture entrepreneurs business profile as to their coping strategies.
