Abstract: ALA, ALONA ROBLEDO. "Okabe Nikoh Corporation Philippine Economic Zone Authority Rosario, Cavite." An Undergraduate Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Economics. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2001. Adviser: Roderick M. Rupido. A study was conducted from October 2000 to January 2001 to enable the author to apply her knowledge and skills in business management to actual business operations. This field study report presents the business process procedure of the company, production from procurement of materials to shipment of finished products, marketing, and financial condition for the two consecutive years. It aimed to describe the operation of the firm, particularly the organization and management, and to identify the problems encountered by the firm and discuss the activities performed in the firm during the conduct of the field study. Data and information were gathered through observation; personal interview with the manager, staff and production workers of the firm; and access to company records, files and written report. The company manufactured metal press stamping which includes critical metal components with stainless steel, aluminum and other high-grade metals used as raw materials. The firm is able to maintain its stand in the market by offering a very competitive price and high quality products. The conduct of the field practice training helped the trainee to get exposed to the different activities of the firm. The trainee was also able to develop a sense of responsibility, self-confidence and discipline. Furthermore, a good relationship with different kinds of people was established and coping with different environment was also learned.
