The study for the Design of Sports Complex at Cavite State University was conducted to incorporate the topics acquired over years of study; to proposed design of sports complex; provide the university additional significant result that can be used for future reference and an estimate cost for the project; provide structural plan design and specifications on the type and kinds of materials to be used in the construction from the local manufacturer and supplier.
The study covered a structural design of a 48 m x 10.37 m cantilevered grandstand and a 400 m track and field with playing courts inside the track. Architectural analysis for entrance gate, perimeter fence, flame torch and Structural analysis of a plane truss for lighting purposes were also designed. The study will enable the College of Engineering and Information Technology to comply with the accreditation requirements set by the Accredited Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP)
