Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 2003. “THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT LEVELS OF COCOGRO ON SHOOT AND ROOT FORMATION OF ROSE CUTTINGS”. Adviser: Mr. Epifanio Feraer The study “ The Effects of Different Levels of Cocogro on Shoot and Root Formation of Rose Cuttings” was conducted in Buna Cerca, Indang, Cavite, to determine the best level of Cocogro that will give the best result to Holland rose stem cuttings in terms of shoot and root formation The Holland rose stem cuttings were placed under five (5) treatments with three (3) replications using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). Four (4) different levels of Cocogro were used as treatments of the study: (1) 25 ml of Cocogro per liter of water; (2) 50ml of Cocogro per liter of water; (3) 75ml of Cocogro per liter of water, and (4) 100ml of Cocogro per liter of water. Results of the study show that there were significant differences on the percentage survival and average number of roots per cutting 30 days after planting among the treatments. Based on trhe results of the study, the use of 100ml of Cocogro per liter of water is recommended in propagating Holland rose stem cuttings.
