Enterprise Development Project Report Bachelor of Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Crop Production- Cavite State University, indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Prof. Carlos N. Rodil The project, Cacao (Theohroma cacao) production enterprise, was established at the Banaba Cerca- Indang, Cavite from February to May 2017. The project involved production of 500 seedlings of cacao (Theobrcma cacao) grown in polyethylene bags placed in an open area measuring 4x5 cm- Specifically, the project aimed to l) Provide opportunity to the students to acquire more knowledge and skills in production of cacao seedling. 2) Acquire entrepreneurial skills of student in operating and managing cacao seedling production- 3) Determine the profitability of cacao seedling production; and 4) identify' the problems in managing of cacao seedling production- 5) Acquire knowledge in the market and practices uses in the given commodities give the students information that can be useful in their future career- Purchased of seeds and other materials, nursery establishment for the seedlings, potting mixed preparation, gathering of cacao seeds, bagging and marketing veras performed during pre-production activities. The main production activities done in cacao production were watering, weeding, rouging, application of wood vinegar. Promotion and marketing of cacao Seedlings were sold at of Php. 30.00/piece. The product was posted in some social networking sites like Instagram and Facebook, and in online Buy and Sell websites- Personal selling was also done.
