LIBERTINO, JESUS E., Applied Research IV (Agri-Science Curriculum). Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite. “Growth Performance of Pechay as Affected by Different Levels of Vermicompost Fertilizer”. Adviser: Mrs. Eleonor Ersando
The study "Growth Performance of Pechay as Affected by Different Levels of Vermicompost Fertilizer" was conducted to determine which treatment best enhance the growth of pechay and to find out the effect of vermicompost on the growth performance of pechay.
A total of 400 seedlings were used in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications, composed of treatments - TO (control), Tl (8 tons/hectare, T2 (10 tons/hectare, and T3 (12 tons/hectare.
The results revealed that the different levels of vermicompost fertilizer did not affect the incremental growth performance of pechay. Best results were obtained from T3 as far as the numerical value of the height of pechay, its base diameter, and its weight.
