Abstract: MIKKO ANGELO P. KING and REGINALD M. ABISADO Predicting Personality through Digital Handwriting Analysis Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Ria Clarisse L. Mojica. The study was conducted at Cavite State University Main Campus Indang, Cavite from June 2015 to February 2016. The general objective of the study was to develop a digital handwriting analysis which generates personality traits based on the handwriting style of the writer. The user can upload the scanned image of his/her handwriting and it should be written on a clean bond paper. The user should be in the field of psychology or people who have knowledge about handwriting analysis. The handwriting analysis software will analyze and calculate the features from handwriting image to generate personality. The methodology used in the study was Iterative Development Process. Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and C# programming language were used in building the study. The researchers used questionnaires as the research instrument for the potential users of the software as the respondents. Fifty questionnaires were distributed to thirty psychology students fifteen to psychology professors and five to Information Technology professor of Cavite State University for the evaluation of the application software. The results collected through questionnaires were collated and tabulated. The mean and standard deviation were statistically calculated. Based on the results, the study showed that the software was interpreted as very good in user friendliness, user interaction and technical aspects of the software.
