Abstract: OBTINALLA, ERWIN C., Applied Research IV (Agri-Science Curriculum), Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, “EFFECT OF DIFFERENT DILUTED FLOWER INDUCER IN ASTER LILY (Callistephus chinensis)". Adviser: Mrs Estrellita Morena. The study entitled "Effect of Different Diluted Flower Inducer in Aster Lily (Callistephus chinensis)? was conducted to determine the effect of Peters Special (10-30-20) and Gibberellic Acid (GAg) on the growth and flower production of Aster and to find out which among the treatments is most effective and will give the best results. The experiment was done in Randomized Complete Block Design with four treatments namely: Treatment O (Control), Treatment 1 (2 tbs. Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppm GA3), Treatment 2 (3 tbs. Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppm GA3), Treatment 3 (4 tbs. Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppm GA3), and Treatment 4 (5 tbs Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppm GAg) with three replications. All the data gathered were subjected to the Analysis of Variance. Results showed that Peters Special solution and Gibberellic Acid really affect the growth and flower production of aster lily. Treatment 4 (5 tbs. Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppm Gibberellic Acid) has been found to give the best results with reference to average height of plants, average number of suckers, number of days from application of inducer to flowering, average numbers, total weight and length of floral spikes. However, it was found out that the effect of Treatment 3 (4 tbs. Peters Special per gallon of water + 200 ppo Gibberellic Acid) is not significantly different from the effect of Treatment 4 in all the plant characters observed, therefore it can be used in place of Treatment 4, and the result is almost the same.
