This study was conducted to determine the response of mushroom to urea as affected by different substrates in plastic bags and to find out which substrate will best enhance the yield of mushroom.
The treatments used are T, - bundled rice straw, tT, - loose rice straw, T3 - bundled banana leaves and T, - loose banana leaves, randomly assigned in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD).
Results of the study showed that the different substrates in plastic bags affected the yield of mushroom. It was revealed that T1 bundled rice straw, best enhances the yield of mushroom.
