Bachelor of Science in Businer:s Management, major in Human, Resource Development Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Mr. Florindo C. Ilagan. An entrepreneurial development project was conducted to give the students opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in actual handling of the business, as well as to offer delicious food items for the customers who have cravings for sweet foods. Specifically, it aimed to create a new product out of an existing product through innovation. In addition, it also aimed to determine the viability of the business opportunity, determine the profitability of this kind of food cart business, determine the problems that maybe encountered in operating the business and provide appropriate solution and identify appropriate strategies in production and marketing the product. The entrepreneurial development project operated from November 10, 2015 to February 21, 2015 and was located at the Entrepreneurial Development Center (EDP Center) beside College of Economics, Management and Development Studies' building in Cavite state University, Indang, Cavite. The partners' duties and responsibilities, like procurement of raw material, production of products and recordings of transactions were properly identified, delegated and implemented for the accomplishment of excellent strategies in managing the business, and for the achievement of desired outcome which is high profit. The products that the entrepreneurs sold were BiteChewies, BiteChew Dunkies, Bitechew Fit, BiteChew Overload, Sweet Bites, Dunkie Bites, BiteLet, X-mas bites and Love bites with different dip like chocolate, filled like strawberry jam, toppings like sprinkles, mallows, nuts, cookies, chocolate syrup, and ice cream. They also offered drinks like coffee, iced tea and choco. The capital investment of P30,000.00 was shared equally by the entrepreneurs, a total of' P25,000.00 was initially used to purchase raw materials, pay for transportation, promotional activities, tools and equipment, supplies' and repairs and maintenance of the store. The business generated a total gross sales of P133,950.00 which yielded a net income of P44,766.42 or equivalent to 149.22 ROI. Problems in the procurement of raw materials, production of products, time management, customers' relations, sudden change of weather, cancellation of classes and competition with the other EDP entrepreneurs were among the problems encountered. Through this entrepreneurial development project, the entrepreneurs have fully developed their entrepreneurial, social, personal, and decision making skills in managing the business.
