Abstract: RODRIGUEZ, JAE ROSE F. Organizational Commitment and Teaching Effectiveness of Cavite State University Faculty Members. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Prepared under the supervision of Dr. Florindo C. Ilagan. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the three dimensions of organizational commitment (affective, continuance and normative commitment) on leaching effectiveness of Cavite State University (CvSU) faculty members. The study was carried out on the faculty members and students of the integrated and satellite opuses. The survey questionnaire was personally distributed among 211 faculty members for assessment of organizational commitment and 270 students for assessment of teaching effectiveness. To test the hypothesis, kruskall-wallis test, mann whitney test and spearman rank coefficient correlation analysis were used. The findings revealed that the faculty members were moderately committed but highly effective in teaching. Result of the statistical analysis indicated that there was no significant relationship between organizational commitment dimension and teaching effectiveness. JAE ROSE F.RODRIGUEZ
