Abstract: BAWAR, SHAR ANN APRIL D. Work Values and Job Satisfaction of Employees in Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in Rosario, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Dr. Florindo C. Ilagan. This study was conducted from June to October 2013 to determine the work values and job satisfaction of employees in manufacturing companies in Philippine Economic Zone Authority. Specifically it aimed to determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, civil status, and educational attainment, determine the feeling of employees towards work values, determine the level of job satisfaction of employees in manufacturing companies in Philippine Economic Zone Authority in Rosario, Cavite in terms of working condition, pay and promotion, work activities, working relationship and use of skills and abilities; determine the significant difference in the level of job satisfaction when participants are grouped according to demographic profile; and determine the significant relationship between work values and job satisfaction. The study used the descriptive correlation method. The study had a total of 150 participants. These were the employees with regular status and had been employed for five years and more at Philippine Economic Zone Authority. The research instruments used in the study was adapted from Zytowski (1989) and Smith (1992). In the analysis of this study, frequency, mean, standard deviation and percentage were used to determine the demographic profile of the respondents. To test the level of satisfaction Kruskal Wallis Test Statistics, Mann Whitney Test Statistics and Pearson Correlation were used and to determine the relationship between work values and job satisfaction. Majority of the participants were female and most of them were in the age bracket of 20 to 47 and were still single. Findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between work values and job satisfaction. There is also significant difference in the level of job satisfaction when they are grouped according to demographic profile.
